Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Manager will lead the implementation of the programs including, but not limited to, Renal Roundtables, Rare Disease Roundtables, Equity Roundtables, Corporate Wellness Programs, Drive for Dialysis, Nephrologist Night, and Patient Summit. The role will also assist in the implementation of NKF signature programs including, but are not limited to, NKFโ€™s Transplant related programs: Finding a Living Donor, First Steps to Transplant, as well as other patient and community education programs. The Program Manager will work with the Executive Director to evaluate program performance and ensure activities are aligned with NKFโ€™s strategic plan. The Program Manager also works in collaboration with development staff to support the achievement of the regionโ€™s financial goals for all events (Gala, Golf, and Walk). Program Strategy & Implementation: Work with Executive Director and Development Manager to set and deliver annual program strategy to meet regional goals and objectives Develop and distribute NKF program content and materials, in addition to sponsorship/marketing materials, email/social media communications, presentation materials Ensure program analytical data and metrics are maintained and tracked Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for all program activities Oversee program coordination and delivery, marketing, communications, tracking, and metrics Work in collaboration with Executive Director and development staff to secure funding for local programs by assisting with grant proposals Produce local reports on programs performance and provide feedback to management Professional Education Programs: Manage all aspects of the Professional Education programs including, but not limited to: Meeting program timelines and execution of all program logistics Overseeing a portfolio of pharmaceutical and industry companies for comprehensive strategic partnerships Developing and maintaining key volunteer relationships (chairs/committees) as needed to execute professional education programs Creating agendas, speaker invites and confirmations, secure venues for Programs, process contracts, and recruit participants to drive attendance for programs Leading committee meetings, ensuring volunteers receive clear communication and direction Patient and Community Programs: Provide support to all aspects of patient and community programs including, but not limited to: Working with community and patient focused companies to ensure successful execution of all activities Supporting the delivery of NKF signature programs within the local community Coordinating Drive for Dialysis Initiatives Enhancing minority outreach, develop and coordinate activities to strengthen public awareness, especially in under resourced populations WHAT YOUโ€™LL POSSESS Bachelorโ€™s degree in healthcare related field, or life sciences from an accredited college or university Minimum three yearsโ€™ experience in executing programs and patient and community education Experience in grant proposal writing Experience in evaluation/outcomes measurement as event project manager team lead Excellent computer skills and ease with technology; fluent in Microsoft Word applications, salesforce and marketing cloud experience is a plus Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with medical professionals Volunteer management experience, with both laypeople and health professionals Ability to deal effectively with deadlines and time pressure Tenacious and creative problem solver, motivated by challenge and open to input For our remote and hybrid roles, we trust our team members to create a comfortable and productive work environment at home.
