Position Title: Temporary Manager, Event Transport Operations

Position Summary:


As the Temporary Manager of Event Transport Operations, you will be the key operational leader responsible for the day-to-day management of transport services. You'll ensure the smooth execution of event transport plans and provide on-site leadership to maintain service reliability.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute the Plan: Manage daily transport operations for assigned client groups at competition and non-competition venues.
  • Master the Details: Implement service schedules, routing, and vehicle allocations to meet all operational requirements.
  • Lead with Impact: Supervise and guide the on-site transport workforce, providing them with the direction and support needed for success.
  • On-site Command: Support the operations control center by assisting with monitoring, reporting, and real-time issue resolution.
  • Collaborate and Connect: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to transport operations.
  • Contribute to Learnings: Assist with post-event reporting and documentation of lessons learned.
  • Uphold Standards: Ensure all daily operations are in full compliance with safety, accessibility, and service delivery standards.

Qualifications:

  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in major internation events, transportation, logistics, or event management, with a proven ability to lead on-site teams.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Core Skills: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
