The Assistant Director Ozarks Clean Fuels Coalition - OEWRI assists the Director in managing the Ozarks Clean Fuels Coalition (OCFC) program. This position develops and manages projects/programs, seeks and applies for grants, supervises student interns and Graduate Assistants, manages databases, develops events and workshops, provides necessary resources and assistance to organizations, and builds partnerships and memberships with stakeholders. This position is also responsible for facilitating the OCFC Advisory Committee and developing and implementing the strategic plan and managing the program budget.
Description of Primary Duties
The Assistant Director Ozarks Clean Fuels Coalition - OEWRI assists the Director in managing the Ozarks Clean Fuels Coalition (OCFC) program. This position develops and manages projects/programs, seeks and applies for grants, supervises student interns and Graduate Assistants, manages databases, develops events and workshops, provides necessary resources and assistance to organizations, and builds partnerships and memberships with stakeholders. This position is also responsible for facilitating the OCFC Advisory Committee and developing and implementing the strategic plan and managing the program budget.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Environmental Science/Management, Project Management, Sustainability, Community/Resource Planning, or a related field. A master's degree in a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of years of experience and education may be considered for substitution of educational requirements.
Experience: At least one year of experience in supervision and project development and management is required. Experience developing plans, developing and managing projects/programs and budgets is required. Experience in marketing, website management, and grant development and management is preferred.
Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, independent decision-making, good people skills, computer application skills, ability to work independently and as a team member, and experience developing partnerships and working with multiple stakeholders. The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, manage budgets meet deadlines, and work effectively with member organizations.
Other: Frequent day travel on a regular basis is required and will include an occasional overnight stay. Must have a driver's license. This is a grant funded position and continuation of this position is dependent on ongoing grant funding.
