What You'll Do

Event Planning & Execution  

Collaborate with marketing, sales, customer success, partnerships, and payments teams to support strategic event plans.

  • Coordinate show registration, staffing, hotel bookings, event asset management, and tradeshow uniform logistics.
  • Serve as the primary contact with the Show Management House for event orders and shipping.
  • Build detailed event briefs (Google Slides and Notion pages) and host pre-event staff meetings to align teams on objectives, protocols, and logistics.
  • Support the "Event-in-a-Box" process for smaller field events.
  • Partner with social media and web teams to promote Tekmetric's event presence.
  • Stay current on event trends, technologies, and experiential marketing best practices.
Tradeshow & Field Event Management  
  • Manage the full lifecycle of tradeshow participation - booth selection, logistics, staffing, activations, and lead capture.
  • Coordinate and support field events, coordinating venue, catering, AV, and onsite logistics for seamless delivery.
  • Help surface sponsorship and speaking opportunities in partnership with senior team members. Partner with the Brand and Content team to assign and prepare internal speakers.
Tektonic Industry Conference 
  • Actively contribute to the planning and execution of Tektonic, Tekmetric's flagship annual industry event.
Budget & Vendor Management   
  • Track and report on event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and fiscal responsibility.
Reporting & Optimization  
  • Create post-event reports covering attendance, ROI, lead generation, and qualitative feedback.
  • Process event leads with Revenue Operations and support the development of a lead follow-up process to ensure no lead goes cold.
  • Use data insights to continuously optimize future events and document outcomes for cross-functional visibility.

This role is instrumental in supporting the marketing team's success. The Event Manager will be expected to flex into additional responsibilities as needed to achieve individual, team, and company goals.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of event coordination or marketing experience, ideally in a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing industry tradeshows end-to-end.
  • Automotive industry background is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - you can juggle multiple projects without letting anything slip.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, comfortable managing cross-functional stakeholders and vendor relationships.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking event performance, measuring ROI, and reporting on KPIs.
  • A creative thinker who sees events as opportunities to tell a compelling brand story and engage an audience.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative, solves problems independently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace is expected; experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Cvent, and Notion is a plus.

Travel to events is required for this role. This position is based in Houston, TX with a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in office.
