Description
All Classical Radio seeks a dynamic, results-oriented Events and Venue Manager to oversee studio/hall rentals, venue use, and station events.Â
This position is responsible for the full lifecycle of All Classical rentals and venue use/partnerships: promotions to potential renters; fielding requests; scheduling and contracting; logistics planning and coordinating personnel; event execution; and post-event follow up. The Manager will deliver on agreements with renters and partners; will manage a roster of relevant contractors including audio engineers, videographers, and house/venue management assistants; and will serve as the primary liaison for renters, partners, and vendors to facilitate all events and venue/studio usage. The Manager will also assist All Classical Radio and the International Children's Arts Network (ICAN) with internal events and related projects.Â
Managing All Classical Radio's state-of-the-art Irving Levin Performance Hall and James DePreist Recording Studio (KOIN Tower, downtown Portland), this position is an integral leader in the growth and success of the venue and studio, and demonstrates commitment to maximizing venue use, community impact, and organizational revenue. In collaboration with Management and Marketing teams, this role will brainstorm and envision new opportunities to promote and activate the hall and studio. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, and a self-starter with excellent communication and customer service skills. A successful Manager will bring an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Examples of events to be managed by this role include performances, recording sessions, live broadcasts, workshops/classes, dinner and networking events, theatre/dance rehearsals or performances, and more.
This is an in-person / in-office position. The schedule and working hours for this position will vary based on event and rental schedules, and will include daytime, evening, and weekend hours.

Pay is competitive and dependent upon qualifications and experience. The expected salary range is $27.80/hr. - $32.69/hr. Generous benefits package includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) employer match, paid holidays, and generous starting PTO. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
