Job Summary
This position will assist the Athletics Operations Department for all home athletic events. 95% of all tasks and duties will be performed on campus at the Athletic venues* (Chiles Center, Merlo Field, and Joe Etzel Field). Transportation will be provided for all off-campus events. Workers will report to the Assistant Athletic Director of Operations. Position will work about 4-20 hours a week, with some weeks having no hours at all due to away games. Student employees will assist with all set-up/break-down of home events. Will also assist with athletic laundry on a daily bases.

Core Duties
  • Field/court preparation, including but not limited to: field setup, sweeping of courts, trash pickup, and cleaning.
  • Set field/court for all home competitions.
  • Ball retrieval during varsity games
  • Scoreboard operation
  • Music operation
  • Locker room preparation/support
  • Light custodial/cleaning duties
  • Laundry duties as assigned
  • Operating concessions during baseball sessions
  • Break down of chairs and tables
  • Other relevant duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Attention to detail

  • Willing to work outside in all types of weather
  • Green Dot full training certified or willing to go through the Green Dot training
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous athletics operation experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift 25-50lbs.
