Apple Farm Service is looking for a mechanically inclined problem solver to join our team as our next Service Technician. This individual will help our customers get back to the field or job site by repairing their agricultural or construction machinery. The Service Technician is vital to the operations of Apple Farm Service and our customers.

This candidate will service all aspects of machinery, which include; standard mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs. Please apply today to learn more details.Responsibilities:- Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical errors on equipment- Determine the extent of necessary repairs, including parts, labor, and any required tools- Repair and replace what is necessary to complete the repair- Read and understand information from schematics, manuals, and other necessary information- Perform welding, brazing, and fabrications- Complete work orders while collecting important data such as serial numbers, engine hours, acres, etc.- Communicate between the service manager and service writer- Communicate with the customer when necessary to inform them of any major issues- Ability to travel to the customer's location and work from a service truck- Maintain current knowledge of products and technology through training and events- Assist in special projects to maintain and improve the equipment lot, storefront, or other company propertyExperience: (Not required, but preferred):- Experience servicingagricultural or construction equipment is preferable.- Technical training on diesel mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, or other related fields- Experience with dealership information systems- Knowledge of agricultural or construction equipmentPay:- Pay based on experience and work ethic.- Time and a half paid for any hours worked over 40 hr/wk.- New generous compensation bonus structure along with competitive hourly wages.- Raises offered based on performance and time spent within the company
