Job description

First Financial Credit Union is opening a marketing internship opportunity for college students interested in gaining hands-on experience in marketing, social media, community engagement, and event planning. The internship will run September through November (12 weeks), with students completing approximately 10โ€“15 hours per week of paid work.

What Will Interns Do?

Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside the Marketing team and gain real-world experience through a variety of projects and events, including:

Event & Community Support

  • Assist with setup and teardown of booth activations
  • Represent FFCU at community events
  • Distribute promotional materials
  • Participate in concert activations and other Marketing events

Marketing Support

  • Create and assist with social media content and posting
  • Assist with photos and videos for social media
  • Support marketing campaigns
  • Help track event attendees and demographics
  • Shadow members of the Marketing Department and learn about the overall marketing process

This is a great opportunity for students to develop professional skills while getting exposure to the many different areas of marketing within a local credit union.

 

Who We're Looking For

Interns must:

  • Be currently enrolled in a college or university
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Be available to attend designated community events, including evenings and weekends, as part of their required internship hours
