At Fleet Feet Treasure Valley, our events are where inspiration, movement, and community come together. As Event Staff, you'll play a crucial role in bringing these experiences to life, whether it's a weekly fun run, a large-scale race, or a brand-sponsored activation.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you'll support event setup, logistics, participant engagement, and breakdown. Your energy, adaptability, and commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere will help ensure every event makes a positive, lasting impression. Responsibilities:
  • Support event setup and takedown, including tents, tables, signage, hydration stations, and course equipment
  • Assist with equipment loading and unloading before and after events
  • Coordinate key logistics during events such as check-in, registration, course direction, and water stops
  • Greet participants and create a friendly, upbeat environment that aligns with Fleet Feet's community values
  • Provide information, assistance, and encouragement to participants throughout the event
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and accessible event spaces before, during, and after each gathering
  • Represent the Fleet Feet brand with professionalism and positivity
  • Work closely with store staff, vendor partners, volunteers, and the Director of Marketing to ensure smooth execution
  • Be adaptable and responsive to changes in logistics or participant needs
  • Offer feedback after events to improve future programming and experiences

Qualifications:
  • Positive, motivated attitude with a team-first mentality
  • Ability to travel throughout the Treasure Valley based on the event location
  • Flexibility to work weekends, off-hours, and some holidays
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs consecutively
  • Valid driver's license preferred with vehicle
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt on the fly
