About the Role

We are looking for a confident, client-facing Attendee Data Manager (Registration Manager) to support our client's Global Conferencing and Events (GCE) function and its Event Planners. This role is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of online registration, attendee communications, data integrity and reporting across assigned corporate events.

You will own assigned projects from requirements gathering through post-event reporting, partnering closely with Event Planners, clients, vendors and other support teams. To deliver solutions aligned with planner needs and business priorities, you will build a strong understanding of the end-to-end event lifecycle, each event's requirements and the broader GCE event calendar.

In This Role, You Will
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of online registration, attendee communications, data management and reporting for assigned events.
  • Partner closely with Event Planners and other stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle, translating event objectives and logistics into effective registration journeys and attendee experiences.
  • Build and maintain registration sites, forms, invitations, confirmations, reminders and other attendee communications in Cvent.
  • Manage attendee inquiries by email and phone, providing timely, accurate and service-oriented support.
  • Maintain data integrity, perform quality control checks and deliver accurate reports using Cvent, Excel and related event technology.
  • Support complex requirements involving accommodations, travel, room blocks, sessions, guest management and other attendee logistics.
  • Manage project timelines, priorities, risks and dependencies across multiple concurrent events, escalating concerns promptly to the Team Leader and Event Planner.
  • Provide concise status updates, recommendations and solutions to clients, Event Planners and internal partners.
  • Follow established processes, documentation and quality standards while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and the attendee experience.
  • Maintain visibility into the broader GCE event calendar and collaborate with the team to support changing priorities and business-critical events.
  • Provide onsite event support when required.

  • Managing event registration and attendee data in Cvent.
  • Building trusted relationships with clients, vendors and cross-functional partners.
  • Ensuring data integrity, applying quality controls and maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Managing multiple projects, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Turning complex event requirements into clear workflows and effective attendee solutions.
  • Communicating clearly, setting expectations and responding calmly when priorities shift or issues arise.
  • Using reporting and operational insights to identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Working collaboratively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
You Might Also Have
  • 5+ years of experience in event registration, attendee management or a related event technology discipline, with hands-on Cvent experience.
  • Experience supporting a portfolio of concurrent corporate events with varied complexity and stakeholder needs.
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and communicate meaningful insights.
  • Hands-on experience supporting room blocks, travel, session management and other attendee logistics in partnership with vendors.
  • Hospitality, meetings and events, or agency experience.
  • Experience with Cvent Attendee Hub or other event management platforms.
You Should Know
  • This position will sit with the BCD web team in their Chicago offices 4 days per week.
  • Occasional travel and onsite event management are required for this role.

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:Less than 25%

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Senior Event Registration Manager is between $65,000 - $75,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
