Position Overview:
 
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating a variety of external company events including both in-person events and virtual events. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience coordinating events, the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
 
What you will do as the Events Coordinator

This role requires up to 50% travel
 
  • Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of external and internal events.
  • Work closely with the Event Marketing Manager to develop event strategies and plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Manage event logistics, arranging transportation, rooming lists, etc.
  • Ensure that all event materials, such as marketing collateral and promotional items are prepared and delivered on time.
  • Handle event registration and attendee management, including managing RSVP lists, registration reporting, and communicating with attendees before, during, and after the event.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, sales, and creative teams, to ensure that event messaging and branding are consistent.
  • Track event budgets and expenses.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and identify areas for improvement in future events.
  • Schedule content calls and planning meetings with stakeholders.
  • Manage event incentives including attendance reports, gift card ordering, tracking, etc.
  • Coordinate with the creative team to develop event marketing materials, including invitations, signage, and promotional items.
  • Create and distribute Cvent invites for external events, both virtual and in person.
 
What you will bring to the team:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
 
 
Qualified candidates can expect a salary of $65,000-75,000
