Job description

Description:

Momentus is the global leader in event and venue management software, powering millions of events across thousands of venues worldwide – from iconic stadiums and convention centers to corporate campuses and universities. At a time when events are becoming one of the most important – and underutilized – drivers of pipeline and customer engagement, Momentus is building a system that turns them into a measurable, scalable growth engine.

As we continue to invest in events as a core growth lever, we’re hiring a Marketing Events Manager to own and elevate our event program into a world-class, revenue-driving engine. This role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, and Product – responsible for delivering experiences that not only represent the Momentus brand, but also generate measurable business impact.

The Marketing Events Manager owns the full lifecycle of the Momentus event program –from strategy and planning through execution and post-event analysis.

This is not just an execution role. You will act as the architect and operator of our event strategy, ensuring every experience is intentional, high-impact, and tightly aligned to pipeline and revenue outcomes. You’ll combine strong strategic thinking with flawless execution, bringing together cross-functional teams to deliver events that are both operationally excellent and commercially effective.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the overall event calendar, program vision, and strategy aligned to GTM priorities and business goals
  • Position events as a core driver of pipeline, customer engagement, and brand
  • Define clear success metrics for each event and the broader portfolio
  • Track performance, measure ROI, and provide insights to optimize future investments
  • Lead planning and execution for Tier 1 events, executive engagements, and high-impact brand activations
  • Ensure every event delivers a consistent, premium, and differentiated Momentus experience
  • Partner with Demand Gen to build and execute integrated promotion plans across email, paid, social, and content
  • Ensure strong pre-event pipeline creation and post-event follow-up
  • Allocate budget based on strategic priorities and expected ROI
  • Own end-to-end financial management including POs, vendor payments, and reconciliation
  • Manage all event logistics including AV, signage, catering, staffing, setup, and on-site execution
  • Own vendor sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management
  • Ensure accurate lead capture and tracking
  • Monitor lead progression through the funnel and partner with Sales on follow-up and conversion
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Content, and Brand to ensure messaging and experience align with core value propositions
  • Shape and evolve the Momentus event experience and identity
  • Travel 8-10 times a year to be onsite at Events
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in event marketing, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple events across formats and scales
  • Experience defining goals, measuring performance, and reporting on event ROI
  • Understands how events connect to pipeline and revenue outcomes
  • Exceptional project management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage complex logistics and deliver under tight timelines
  • Experience working closely with Sales, Marketing, and executive stakeholders
  • Ability to align teams around a shared event strategy
  • Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and external partners
  • Comfortable balancing cost, quality, and impact
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Stays composed under pressure—especially on event day
  • Familiarity with event management tools, CRM systems, and lead capture technologies
  • Background in events, hospitality, or venue management industries a plus
