Job description


We are searching for a Child Life Program & Events Coordinator. Someone who will coordinate special event programing for the for the Cancer and Hematology Center. Perform routine planning, scheduling, administrative support and coordination of event/program activities, supplies, donations, deliveries, and communication. Helps monitor attendance and tracks necessary forms. Establishes close working relationships with stakeholders, key colleagues, donors and vendors who provide services and information. Maintains an understanding of department operational priorities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 1 year of Administrative, project management, event planning and/or healthcare experience

Responsibilities:
  • Provides oversight, planning and execution of special event programming
  • Serves as a point of contact for donors, community partners and internal stakeholders during the planning and execution stage of the event/program.
  • Serves as a department representative and Texas Children's resource, offering guidance and input to support the planning and successful delivery of events and programs.
  • Coordinates leader and stakeholder input to support the development of detailed project plans for events and programs
  • Coordinates internal and external team member communication.
  • Prepares necessary information in support of annual planning for upcoming meetings/events
  • Coordinates schedules, including requests for special events/programs and tasks from internal and external team members.
  • Internal and external stakeholder relations
  • Provides administrative support to service specific programs
