Live Event Sales Representative:

We have a great opportunity for someone with special event production and sales experience. An ideal candidate will bring a proven track record and the drive to help grow our business. Your experience should include conferences, launch events, galas and special events. The right individual will bring a high level of customer service, attention to detail and the ability to build relationships with prospects and customers.

Position Summary:

The Live Event Sales Representative is responsible for soliciting and developing new business that can contribute to the success of CPR Multimedia Solutions. Our Live Event Sales Representative is responsible for account servicing which includes all changes to an event’s requirements each year and securing future events and new opportunities.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Solicit and meet with event producer & meeting planner prospective customers.
  • Attend industry functions as necessary
  • Respond as assigned to sales inquiries from potential clients and maintain good working relationships with existing clients.
  • Fully qualify clients and prospects and prepare proposals based on best solutions
  • Attend planning meetings & site inspections as needed
  • Follow- up with production managers on surveys, licenses, payments, surveys, etc.
  • Assist with budgeting and client/event information and data in the Lightning CRM

Qualifications:

  • 5 years industry experience (Hotel or Convention Sales & Services)
  • Experience working cooperatively and effectively with others for common objectives
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrates a high level of proficiency with Microsoft suite applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as well as databases.
  • Ability to prioritize activities and multiple responsibilities in a specified time frame.
  • This position requires significant work commitment and hours that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
