Essential Job Duties

As the Senior Event Manager Manager, you'll own the event marketing strategy that fuels pipeline growth and revenue across BambooHR's go-to-market organization. You'll partner closely with Sales, Revenue Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Integrated Marketing to develop and execute event programs that generate qualified pipeline, accelerate sales opportunities, and engage our ideal customer profile (ICP).

This role is ideal for a marketer who thinks beyond event execution and measures success through business outcomes. You'll build data-driven event strategies rooted in territory planning, pipeline performance, and sales alignment while leading the execution of industry conferences, field marketing programs, trade shows, and roadshows.

Success in this role means creating event programs that consistently influence revenue, strengthen partnerships with Sales, and continuously improve performance through measurement, optimization, and strategic investment decisions.

You will:

  • Own event marketing strategy that drives qualified pipeline, accelerates sales opportunities, and supports revenue growth across target markets
  • Lead end-to-end event programs from strategic planning through execution while ensuring every investment is aligned to measurable business outcomes
  • Develop and execute revenue-focused event strategies aligned with pipeline generation, opportunity creation, customer engagement, and go-to-market prioritiesPartner closely with Sales leadership to develop event territory coverage strategies that engage target accounts, maximize ICP reach, and support regional pipeline goals
  • Establish event performance goals, pipeline targets, attendance objectives, and success metrics in partnership with Sales, Revenue Marketing, and Revenue OperationsOwn the planning and execution of industry conferences, trade shows, field marketing programs, roadshows, and other demand-generating event initiatives
  • Manage event budgets, forecasting, vendor relationships, procurement, contracting, logistics, and post-event optimization while maximizing return on investment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Integrated Marketing, Creative, Product Marketing, Communications, and Revenue Operations to deliver cohesive campaigns and attendee experiences
  • Measure and optimize event performance using pipeline influence, opportunity creation, conversion rates, attribution, and revenue impact to guide future investment decisionsBuild forecasting models, reporting dashboards, and business cases that support event investment decisions and portfolio optimization
  • Leverage AI tools and modern marketing technology to improve planning efficiency, campaign execution, reporting, and operational effectiveness
  • Serve as the strategic leader for event-driven demand generation, partnering across Marketing and Sales to continuously evolve BambooHR's event strategy and maximize revenue impact

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing with significant experience in field marketing, demand generation, revenue marketing, or strategic event marketing.
  • Experience owning pipeline generation and revenue performance goals
  • Demonstrated success generating measurable pipeline and revenue through field marketing or event marketing programs
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales leadership on territory planning, pipeline strategy, and go-to-market execution
  • Strong understanding of demand generation, campaign strategy, lead management, marketing attribution, and pipeline reporting
  • Experience using Salesforce and Power BI to measure marketing performance, analyze pipeline contribution, and communicate business impact
  • Experience with modern marketing technologies including marketing automation platforms, event platforms, CRM systems, lead capture technologies, and AI productivity tools (such as ChatGPT and Claude Code) to improve execution and decision-making
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-impact marketing initiatives simultaneously while balancing strategic priorities and executional excellence
  • Strong analytical, communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Comfortable making data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support events
