Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Event Sales Manager to join our esteemed luxury hotel team. This pivotal role is responsible for driving revenue through the strategic sale of our exclusive event spaces and services. The ideal candidate will possess a sophisticated understanding of the luxury market, a proven history of exceeding sales targets, and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences. You will be instrumental in positioning our property as the premier destination for high-end corporate and social events.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage the entire event sales cycle, from initial inquiry and lead generation to contract negotiation and finalization, ensuring a seamless and elevated client experience.
  • Develop and cultivate strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clients, including corporate planners, DMCs, wedding coordinators, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Design and present bespoke, innovative event proposals and packages tailored to meet the unique needs and expectations of a discerning clientele.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for event sales, contributing directly to the hotel's financial success.
  • Conduct professional and compelling site inspections, showcasing the property's unique features and event capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, including Banquets, Culinary, and Operations, to ensure flawless event execution and uphold our five-star service standards.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and industry best practices to identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent the hotel at industry trade shows, networking events, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Utilize CRM software to accurately track sales activities, manage client data, and generate detailed performance reports for senior leadership.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive sales experience, with a significant portion spent in event sales within a luxury hotel or high-end resort environment.
  • A verifiable and impressive track record of meeting and surpassing sales goals in a competitive market. Our top-performing managers consistently exceed targets by 15% or more.
