Description
The Red Gate Group is seeking a CIO Event Planner to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position is responsible for the end-to-end organization, planning, coordination, and execution of senior-level engagements and events across the CIO enterprise, while also supporting day-to-day contract operations, stakeholder coordination, and strategic communications.
Responsibilities
  • Organize, plan, coordinate, and execute senior-level in-person and virtual events for the CIO organization, including conferences, town halls, road shows, symposiums, and summits, managing all logistics and stakeholder coordination
  • Provide day-to-day management of contract support operations, including organizing, directing, and coordinating planning and production of all contract support activities
  • Provide technical guidance to the project team and review the quality of all work products to ensure deliverables meet required standards for technical editing and compliance
  • Assist the Program Manager as required in managing contract performance, overseeing staffing, project planning, and maintaining the client interface at the COR level

Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly preferred)
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in event planning, project management, strategic communications, or a closely related field, with at least a portion of that experience within the last 2 years
  • Master's degree in Communications, Event Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; OR a Bachelor's degree in a related field plus an additional 5 years of related senior experience (13 years total) may be substituted in lieu of a Master's degree
  • Experience developing executive-level briefings, presentations, read-ahead materials, and stakeholder communications
