Join the Citadel Security USA Events Team
Citadel Security USA seeks reliable and professional Event Security Officers to support a wide range of public and private events throughout Western Colorado. Officers may work concerts, community festivals, sporting events, corporate functions, entertainment venues, and other large gatherings where safety, customer service, and crowd management are essential.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy active work environments, interacting with diverse groups of people, and contributing to successful event operations.
Potential Event Locations
Assignments may take place throughout the region, including:

  • Glenwood Springs

Travel between venues may be required depending on event schedules and staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities
Event Safety & Security
  • Patrol assigned event areas to help maintain a safe and orderly environment
  • Monitor crowds for safety concerns, disturbances, or prohibited activity
  • Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the event
  • Observe entrances, exits, gathering areas, and designated security zones
  • Report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations promptly

Access Control
  • Verify credentials, event passes, wristbands, tickets, or identification when required
  • Monitor restricted-access areas and authorized-entry points
  • Assist with screening procedures and bag inspections in accordance with venue requirements
  • Help enforce event rules and site-specific policies

Guest Assistance
  • Provide directions and general information to attendees
  • Assist guests, vendors, performers, and event staff as needed
  • Deliver professional customer service while maintaining security awareness
  • Support smooth guest flow during entry, event operations, and departure periods

Incident Response & Communication
  • Respond appropriately to security concerns following company and venue procedures
  • Assist with emergency situations, evacuations, or medical responses when directed
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and event personnel
  • Document incidents, observations, and notable activity when required
