Job Description

The individual in this position will be responsible for the completion of various assignments in supporting theGlobal Accountingteam. The Intern will be exposed to various aspects of accounting through organized project work and the month end close process. All assigned tasks will be managed and reviewed by a member of the Global Accountingteam. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in accounting, be well-organized, a proactive communicator, and have intellectual curiosity with evidence of problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Journal Entry Preparation: Draft journal entries in SAPand OneStreamwith appropriate level of support

  • Intercompany Transactions: Analyze intercompany transactions and assist in preparing appropriate journal entries

  • Reconciliations: Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations monthly

  • Financial statement trends: Analyze monthly financial reporting, comparing historical and current month activity to provide flux explanations

  • Ad-hoc projects: Support Global Accounting team in various projects as needed

  • Team and status meetings: Attend meetings related to team initiatives, close status, and project updates

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including TAaC, Fixed Assets, FP&A, and more

  • General Internship Program: Participate in pre-planned intern events such as senior leader meetings, goal setting and performance check-ins, team building, office tour and Action Learning Project participation and presentation

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in an Accounting Bachelor or Graduate degree program, preferably be entering your senior year if applying from an undergraduate degree program

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

  • Understanding of basic accounting and finance concepts including U.S. GAAP

  • Proficiency inMicrosoftExcel

  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

  • Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time

  • Hybrid work environment-requiredminimum 2 days in office

The salary range for this role is:

$19.00- $29.50 an hour

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
