Corporate Events Coordinator Kansas City, MO | Fully Onsite Full-Time | Direct Hire | $50-55K LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client within the construction/engineering services industry who is seeking a Corporate Events Coordinator. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events-from corporate meetings and internal functions to client-facing events and conferences. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and delivers exceptional experiences for attendees. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plan and execute events from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with goals, timelines, and budgets
  • Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering, travel arrangements, audiovisual needs, and event materials
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, venues, and external partners
  • Manage event calendars, schedules, and timelines to ensure all deliverables are met
  • Oversee onsite event execution, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees and stakeholders
  • Track and manage budgets, process invoices, and monitor expenses
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, leadership, and internal teams to support event objectives
  • Coordinate promotional efforts and attendee communications (invitations, confirmations, follow-ups)
  • Maintain inventory of event materials, supplies, and branded items
  • Evaluate event success and provide post-event reporting, insights, and recommendations for improvement
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-2+ years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or a related role
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with vendors, budgets, and logistics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with event management tools is a plus
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
