Hybrid Work Environment: Tuesday - Thursday in-office | Mon/Fri WFH
This is an evergreen posting designed to identify and engage with talent for potential future opportunities. While we may not have an immediate opening for this position, we encourage qualified individuals to apply for consideration as needs arise.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design of highway design, geometric layouts, roundabouts, alignments, profiles, cross sections and other related infrastructure projects
  • Contribute to the production of preliminary and final plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Utilize related software to support design and project needs (MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite)

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience supporting highway design and/or other transportation design projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Active EIT certification or actively attaining EIT within 6 months of employment
  • Master's degree in civil engineering
  • Previous experience or formal training with MicroStation, Openroads Designer
  • Previous experience developing construction plans and specifications

$74,700 - $90,300 a year
The listed salary range reflects base pay for candidates with 0-4 years of related experience. Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities.
