Job description

Job Description: Event & Show Coordinator
Company: Spearhead Builds LLC
Location: Upstate New York (Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo)
Position Type: Part-Time / Weekend-Based
Reports To: General Manager
Role Overview
Spearhead Builds LLC is a premier acrylic bath, decking and outdoor living contractor dedicated to "Spearhead Spec" construction-structural standards that exceed building codes. We are seeking a high-energy, organized, and results-driven Event & Show Coordinator to be the face of our brand at home shows, Chamber of Commerce events, and community festivals.
The ideal candidate is a "logistics ninja" who can manage a display from registration to teardown while possessing the sales savvy to convert foot traffic into high-quality project leads.
Key Responsibilities
Event Scouting & Logistics: Identify, vet, and register for high-traffic local events (Home Shows, Town Days, County Fairs).
Operational Execution: Transport, set up, and tear down the Spearhead Builds display (including structural cutaways, banners, and digital portfolios).
Lead Generation: Proactively engage event attendees, educate them on our superior structural standards, and schedule in-home consultations.
Brand Ambassadorship: Maintain a professional booth appearance and ensure all marketing materials are stocked and displayed effectively.
Reporting: Track lead data accurately and report weekly performance metrics to management.
Compensation & Performance Incentives
This position is designed for a top-performer with a weekly pay cycle.
Event Base Rate: $500.00 flat rate per show (covers setup, running, and teardown).
Lead Bonus: $25.00 for every "Kept Appointment" (consultations that actually take place, calculated weekly)
Sales Commission: 1% of the total signed contract value (paid in lieu of the $25 lead bonus for converted sales). Example: A $35,000 deck sale results in a $350 commission. Paid after contact signed and initial deposit received.
Expenses: Mileage allowance provided for travel between the warehouse and event locations.
Growth Potential: Based on performance and volume, this role has the potential to expand into a management position with an allocated assistant for larger multi-city events.
Required Qualifications
Highly Organized: Able to manage a calendar of events and logistical details without oversight.
Outgoing Personality: Comfortable initiating conversations with strangers and "hunting" for leads in a crowded environment.
Reliable Transportation: Must have a vehicle capable of transporting booth materials (or a valid driver's license to operate company transport).
Physical Ability: Able to lift and move display components (banners, table displays, wood samples).
Professionalism: Punctuality and a "clean-cut" professional appearance are mandatory; you represent the quality of our craftsmanship.
About Spearhead Builds
We don't build "standard" projects. We build legacies. Our "Spearhead Spec" ensures our customers get the safest, most durable bathroom and outdoor living spaces in New York. We are a fast-growing company with a goal of $1M in Year 1 sales-we want you to help us get there.
