The Opportunity

The Coordinator, Sports Technical Operations supports the planning and execution of live sports productions by coordinating technical staffing, travel logistics, and event scheduling across multiple properties. Reporting to the SVP, Sports Technical Operations, this role serves as a key operational partner, ensuring technical teams are equipped and positioned for successful event execution.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate staffing schedules for Senior Technical Managers and freelance Technical Managers across multiple live sports productions.
  • Maintain accurate production staffing calendars and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and credentialing requirements.
  • Serve as a communication hub between Sports Operations leadership, venue operations teams, and field personnel.
  • Maintain staffing, travel, and event logistics tracking systems and documentation.
  • Support process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives across the Sports Technical Operations team.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Media Production, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in deadline-driven environments.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and collaborative platforms.
  • Interest in live sports production, broadcast operations, or media environments.
