THE ROLE

Providing excellent service to customers attending events or visiting concession stands. Ensuring a positive customer experience while managing transactions, preparing, and serving food andbeverage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service with a positive and professional attitude

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to FEC standards

  • Operate POS systems, handle payment transactions, and follow proper payment procedures

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace throughout the shift

  • Prepare and Stock Food and Beverages as needed based on event need

  • Restock products and supplies before, during, and after events

  • Follow all health department, safety, and food-handling guidelines

  • Assistwith stand setup, break-down, and closing procedures

  • Communicate product shortages, guest concerns, or operational issues to supervisors

  • Work collaboratively with fellow staff, volunteers, and supervisors to ensure smooth event execution

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

  • 3 months of related experience and/or training preferred.

Skills and Abilities

  • Basic working knowledge of food and beverage and food & bar preparation.

  • Basic math ability to accurately count and handle money.

  • Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors,patron, and others.

  • Follow oraland written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.

  • Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays.
