Serve with care. Support with pride. Meritus Health is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Catering Assistant to support our Nutrition Services team. This role ensures timely, attractive, and safe delivery of catering services for medical center guests and staff-contributing to a positive experience across our campus.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and prepare daily catering requests and delivery schedules
- Set up and clean up catering events with attention to presentation and timing
- Follow safe food handling and infection control procedures
- Prepare and batch cook menu items using proper techniques and equipment
- Calculate quantities and gather supplies for catering production
- Maintain compliance with health regulations and departmental standards
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- General work experience in customer service or team-based environments preferred
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Ability to follow instructions, measure ingredients, and perform basic math
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
