Serve with care. Support with pride. Meritus Health is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Catering Assistant to support our Nutrition Services team. This role ensures timely, attractive, and safe delivery of catering services for medical center guests and staff-contributing to a positive experience across our campus.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and prepare daily catering requests and delivery schedules
  • Set up and clean up catering events with attention to presentation and timing
  • Follow safe food handling and infection control procedures
  • Prepare and batch cook menu items using proper techniques and equipment
  • Calculate quantities and gather supplies for catering production
  • Maintain compliance with health regulations and departmental standards

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • General work experience in customer service or team-based environments preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions, measure ingredients, and perform basic math
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
