Lead Server/Bartender
Sorrel River Ranch is a Four-Diamond luxury guest ranch along the Colorado River, surrounded by red-rock cliffs, wide-open skies, and the unforgettable landscape of Moab.
Our restaurant is central to the Sorrel experience-fresh food, beautiful surroundings, great conversation, and genuine hospitality. We're looking for a Lead Server/Bartender to help run smooth, consistent shifts and support a high-performing service team.

What You'll Do
  • Lead daily service shifts and support smooth front-of-house operations.
  • Welcome guests with genuine hospitality and ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Guide guests through the menu and provide thoughtful recommendations.
  • Professional expertise and knowledge in craft cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
  • Prepare and serve beverages consistently and with proper portioning.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and handle service recovery when needed.
  • Be the expert on food allergen safety.
  • Assist with inventory counts, ordering, and stock organization.
  • Onboard and train team members to Sorrel service standards.
  • Serve as banquet captain for large events and group functions.
  • Complete tip and gratuity reporting accurately and on time.
  • Process payments responsibly.
  • Follow all service and sanitation standards.
  • Support the team wherever needed.
What We're Looking For
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Previous fine-dining or elevated restaurant experience; leadership experience preferred.
  • Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications required.
  • TOAST POS experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and guest-service skills.
  • Professional, polished, and genuinely friendly.
  • Calm, organized, and effective in fast-paced service environments.
  • Strong judgment and ability to work independently while supporting the team.
  • Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
