Job Description
Position Summary
The Events Manager is a versatile position working with all elements of Events & Partnership department; event productions and operation, partner activations and company initiatives. The position will oversee management of some individual events, assist with partnership fulfillment, and support overall event operations and productions. This position reports to the Director of Events.
The salary range for this position is $69,000 to $83,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Functions
  • Build timelines, equipment needs, track budgets and operations plan's for assigned ASC events or partner activations
  • Handle administrative duties including contracts, liability waivers, permitting, accounts receivable tracking, accounts payable tracking and other support as needed
  • Manage event registrations including creation of online registration page, fee collection, on-site check in and delivery of information required for timing/sanctioning/announcing/guest lists etc
  • Support communication to all ASC departments, vendors and staff involved with ASC events and partner activations
  • Assist in any way on all ASC events and partnerships - including but not limited to venue set up, registration, scoring, judging, and general support to the specific manager
  • Coordinate planning and implementation of marketing for events and partners (content, shot lists, advertising)
  • 3rd party (non-ASC) event hosting, planning and overall support
  • Support contract Event Production projects as needed

Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school graduate required
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 5 years' experience in Event Sales or Service at a management level required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Flexibility to work is a fast-paced environment with constant changes
  • Ability to communicate with multiple heads of departments and vendor leads
  • Great attention to detail
  • Trust in handling confidential information and correspondence
  • Ability to work independently with little instruction or supervision
  • Able to guide and be team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and specifically Excel
  • Experience with website management
  • Demonstrated ability in analysis, planning, coordination and data management
  • General office/administrative/budget experience
  • Strong leadership & motivational skills required

Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend or be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Regularly work in wet, cold, hot conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
  • Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
