Job description

Working in conjunction with a licensed BCBA, the behavior technician will be responsible to serve a caseload of families (1- 4 on average) and work 1:1 with children/young adults (ages 2 - 21) with behavioral disabilities in their home, community, schools, and/or clinical settings (assignments individualized per case).

Requirements
  • Some experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, direct support, education, or a related field
  • Support with daily living and personal care routines-including toileting, hygiene, and self-care skills-using structured, individualized ABA strategies to promote independence.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential preferred but not required
  • Be at least 18 years of age with some college education in the field; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively using both written and verbal skills
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and valid automobile insurance
  • CPR/First Aid Certified preferred
