Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Cary, NC, USA

Job Summary:

Galaxy ABA Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team! As an RBT, you will work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings, implementing skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings
• Implement skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a BCBA
• Use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging
• Collect data on client progress and complete session documentation
• Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred)
• Completion of 40-hour RBT training (or willingness to complete before starting, provided by Galaxy ABA)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety
• Ability to pass background checks and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided)
