Job description

PrideStaff San Diego is seeking outgoing and dependable Community Survey Ambassadors to support a survey initiative throughout San Diego's entertainment districts.
In this role, associates will engage with members of the public, explain the purpose of a brief survey, and assist participants in completing survey questions using a company-provided iPad. Successful candidates are friendly, approachable, comfortable speaking with strangers, and capable of representing the client professionally in public settings.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with customer service, event staffing, brand ambassador, hospitality, marketing, or promotional experience.
Essential Responsibilities

  • Approach and engage members in designated survey locations.
  • Explain survey objectives in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Operate and safeguard company-issued iPads and equipment.
  • Ensure survey responses are accurately collected and submitted.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the client.
  • Follow project procedures, reporting requirements, and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with project supervisors regarding attendance, participation rates, and any issues encountered in the field.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, events, retail, marketing, promotions, canvassing, or public-facing roles preferred.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with strangers in busy public environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency with tablets, smartphones, and mobile applications.
  • Reliable transportation to assigned survey locations.
  • Ability to work evening shifts and occasional weekends.
