As we expand our capabilities into enterprise AV solutions, we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Sales Representative to join our team. This role will focus on developing and nurturing relationships within the AV integration space, driving business growth, and ensuring client satisfaction.


  • Business Development: Prospect and cultivate new relationships with clients, identifying and educating prospective customers about HCI’s enterprise AV solutions and services.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead the sales process from proposal development to closing, including crafting comprehensive scopes of work, managing project scope communication, and handling change order costs.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring strong partnerships are established and maintained before, during, and after the sales process. Oversee all aspects of customer accounts, including managing active accounts and fostering sales growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, project management, and field service teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Market Awareness: Build market awareness through networking, presentations, event attendance, and participation in industry associations.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide sales forecast data and other relevant reports to the management team as needed.

  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or engineering preferred.
  • Experience: Over 10 years of experience in consultative sales and customer support within the AV/IT or similar technology industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of AV/IT products, design, engineering, and the industry as a whole. Familiarity with fire life safety or low voltage systems is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Windows, MS Office, and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with active listening and strong persuasiveness in prospecting techniques.
  • Sales Acumen: Ability to drive multiple concurrent opportunities through the sales cycle to closure, with a focus on high-margin leads.
  • Customer Focus: Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service, with the ability to perform needs analysis and site surveys effectively.
