Location: Flying Fish Public Market amp; Grill – Myrtle Beach, SC
Schedule: Part-Time amp; Full-Time | Evening Shifts (4PM–10PM)

Position Summary

We’re looking for a dependable and detail‑oriented Evening Prep Cook to support our culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, takes pride in organization and consistency, and can keep up with the pace of a busy dinner service. You’ll handle essential prep work that keeps the kitchen running smoothly throughout the night.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients according to recipes and prep lists (vegetables, sauces, proteins, etc.)
  • Assist with portioning, labeling, and proper storage of all prepared items
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food‑safe prep area
  • Support line cooks by restocking stations during service
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth transitions between prep and service
  • Uphold Flying Fish standards for quality, consistency, and presentation
