Job description

CURA of Watkins is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Evening Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will be providing high-quality nursing care during the evening shifts, ensuring that our patients receive the attention and support they need during this important time of day. You will be part of a collaborative healthcare team committed to patient-centered care and positive outcomes. This position is fulltime, and on a every 3rd weekend rotation, with 8 hour shifts. Evening shift pay differential is +$3.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including monitoring patient health and administering medications during evening hours.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to maintain continuity of care and communicate patient status changes.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities while promoting their dignity and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and patient progress.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to any patient emergencies or changes in condition.

Requirements

  • Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program
  • Previous nursing experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team during evening shifts.
  • Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible evening shifts including weekends and holidays.
