Somerset is a new neighborhood bar and restaurant opening soon in Port Richmond, Philadelphia.
We’re building the kind of place that becomes part of the neighborhood: a drink after work, dinner at the bar, wings during the game, a burger on a weeknight, a bucket of ponies with a few friends outside, one more round before heading home.
We want the food here to matter here in an uncomplicated way; good, consistent, and worth coming back for.
We’re looking for a Head Chef to build and lead the kitchen from the beginning.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a clean, organized, efficient kitchen and takes pride in simple food done really well. We’re not looking for ego. We’re looking for taste, systems, leadership, and follow-through.
The menu will be focused and approachable: wings, burgers, sandwiches, veggies, seasonal specials, and bar food with enough care behind it that people notice.
