As a Security Officer Hospital Shuttle Driver in Leesport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Our Security Officers at a government location conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document relevant details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local responders as appropriate.
  • Support daily operations by communicating with staff, visitors, and supervisors, completing routine reports, and following post orders and/or special instructions for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Security-related experience of 6+ months is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
