Job Summary:
The Foundational Writing Program is actively seeking applicants to teach undergraduate composition courses. The Foundational Writing Program offers two levels of developmental writing and the university's two required Gen-Ed composition courses, Comp I: Rhetoric & Inquiry and Comp II: Research & Argument. We have a particular need for in-person and daytime availability.
Preferred candidates will have experience teaching writing and an M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies or Literacy Education. Candidates with degrees in other fields of English Studies, Creative Writing, Linguistics are also encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications:
Requirements: Master's degree in English or related field.
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
