Job description

Planner / Estimator

"Position Overview -The Project Field Supervisor is responsible for the detailed planning and safe execution of capital project activities. This role ensures that all field work is carried out according to the project schedule, quality expectations, and safety requirements. The supervisor provides clear daily direction, coordinates resources, manages installation challenges, and supports both craft personnel and project leadership to ensure successful project outcomes. The position reports directly to the Project Manager and works closely with the Project Coordinator, Project Controls Specialist, and Shell SAFOR representatives."

"Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Develop and implement detailed project execution plans. Utilize Primavera P6 to understand schedule logic, activity sequencing, constraints, and critical path impacts. Manage day-to-day execution of project scope in alignment with the Project Schedule and Plan of the Week. Work with the Project Controls team to validate schedule updates, planned vs. actual progress, and resource alignment. Organize labor, materials, and resources at the workface to support efficient execution. Perform initial quality control checks during project execution. Assist craft personnel with hands-on activities as needed. Conduct job walks and engage with field crews regularly. Communication & Coordination Communicate installation issues, field changes, and concerns to the Project Manager promptly. Coordinate daily with the Project Coordinator and Project Controls Specialist. Report daily time sheets, progress updates, and barriers. Attend weekly B&R Supervisor meetings and project team meetings. Engage subcontractors for job walks, estimates, and execution activities as needed. Follow up with procurement to clear commitments, rental call-offs, and invoice corrections."

"Safety & Compliance Draft, review, verify, and authorize eVision work permits using SAFOR in accordance with the Shell Stage Gate Process. Coordinate with Shell SAFOR to issue daily eVision permits. Review and sign daily B&R TSTIs at the work site. Coach crew leads on safe task execution methods. Write, audit, and review TSTI/PTW documentation. Scope & Change Management Create change estimates for incremental scope changes during execution. Identify and communicate scope deviations to project leadership."
