Empowered Essence Counseling Center is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time remote position. • Provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, both in-person and through virtual platforms.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including evidence-based screenings and more detailed evaluations when necessary, to tailor individualized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement integrated care plans that ensure clients are linked to appropriate services and resources, fostering a holistic approach to their mental health.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, focusing on client-specific issues and their treatment goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance common therapeutic goals, maintaining a strong emphasis on communication and teamwork.
• Participate in on-call coverage during and after program hours as assigned, providing crisis intervention as needed to ensure client safety.
• Monitor client progress regarding treatment goals and clinical outcomes, ensuring timely documentation and reporting in compliance with organizational standards.
• Promote a safe space by identifying and reporting potential safety issues, utilizing appropriate procedures to ensure a secure environment for all clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to engage with diverse clients facing significant mental health challenges. The patient population reflects the rich diversity of San Francisco, encompassing various cultural backgrounds and socio-economic statuses. As such, sensitivity toward individual traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal styles is paramount. Your role will involve not only therapeutic interventions but also providing essential support to families and caregivers, ensuring a comprehensive approach to mental health care.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
• Must possess a current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical practice, particularly within community health or behavioral health settings.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to working collaboratively in a team-driven environment.

While not mandatory, we prefer candidates who have experience working with under-served populations, as well as those with knowledge of trauma-informed care strategies. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data management processes will also be beneficial.

The salary range for this role is set between USD 70,000 and 85,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
