Title: Essbase Administrator / Oracle Cloud Systems Administrator

Location: Jersey City, NJ / Charlote, NC (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

  • Creating new user accounts, managing group memberships, assigning Identity Domain or servicespecific admin roles.
  • Managing paid orders, upsizing/updating services, terminating subscriptions
  • Viewing and monitoring utilization and status of all Oracle Cloud services across identity domains and data centers
  • Activating new services and creating service instances (databases, analytics, integration)
  • Manages Oracle Essbase on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • Provision Essbase 21c using OCI Marketplace stack, including VCN, load balancer, and metadata DB.
  • Integrate Essbase with OCI IAM/ Identity Domains for authentication; manage Essbase users and roles within Essbase.
  • Apply Essbase patches and upgrades using Oraclesupported Essbase update procedures; manage VM health and logs
  • Monitors Essbase sessions, checks active calculation scripts, manages locks, and terminates sessions
  • Responsible for configuring backup and recovery procedures for Essbase data on OCI.
  • Essbase Web Interface, Cube Designer for Excel, REST APIs

OCI Admin experience:

  • Creating new user accounts, managing group memberships, assigning Identity Domain or servicespecific admin roles.
  • Managing paid orders, upsizing/updating services, terminating subscriptions
  • Viewing and monitoring utilization and status of all Oracle Cloud services across identity domains and data centres
