Title:

PSAB ESS: Engineering Technician (Secret Clearance)

Program Summary

Under the AFCAP V Program, KBR supports the U.S. Air Force by providing Engineering Support Services to the 378 ECES. These services ensure mission-critical Installation Engineering, Asset Management and Visibility, and Real Property support to the 378 AEW. In addition to Engineering Support Services at Prince Sultan Air Base, KBR also provides food services and other quality-of-life support to sustain base operations.

Job Summary

The Engineering Technician supports installation engineering, construction management, surveying, drafting, and geospatial data development for PSAB. This role provides technical support across planning, project execution, GIS, and documentation activities to ensure facilities and infrastructure data remains accurate, compliant, and mission-ready.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform surveying, drafting, construction management, and project management support functions

  • Develop and maintain technical drawings, maps, and geospatial datasets using AutoCAD and GIS software

  • Support construction inspections, documentation, and quality assurance activities

  • Assist with maintaining as-built drawings, facility records, and infrastructure documentation

  • Support GeoBase, CIP, MDS, and MDL updates in compliance with SDSFIE and Air Force standards

  • Conduct field surveys including topographic, boundary, and utility surveys

  • Assist with airfield obstruction data updates and waiver documentation

  • Support site preparation coordination, permits, and utility outage documentation

  • Ensure engineering documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with Government requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current U. S. Driver's License.

  • Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 13 months of remaining validity AND 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.

  • Minimum three (3) years combined experience in surveying, drafting, construction management, and project management

  • At least one (1) year of recent experience using AutoCAD and GIS software

  • Two (2) years of experience working with public or government organizations

  • Proficiency in technical drawings, maps, and geospatial data

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance

  • Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Air Force Civil Engineering programs

  • Familiarity with GeoBase, ArcGIS Pro, and SDSFIE standards

  • Experience working in contingency or overseas environments.
