Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Esports Instructor and Coach to lead engaging after school esports programming for students. This role focuses on teaching competitive gaming fundamentals, teamwork, strategy, digital content creation, and career exposure within the esports industry. The ideal candidate understands gaming culture, competitive play, and youth development, with the ability to inspire students while fostering both personal growth and team excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Esports Instruction and Curriculum Delivery
• Teach fundamentals of competitive gaming across multiple genres including FPS, MOBA, sports simulation, and battle royale
• Educate students about roles within the esports ecosystem such as players, coaches, analysts, streamers, and event staff
• Develop strategic thinking, decision making, and game awareness
Competitive Skills and Strategy Development
• Provide coaching on mechanics, positioning, communication, and gameplay improvement
• Lead practice sessions, scrimmages, and structured gameplay reviews
• Help students build critical thinking and problem solving skills through gaming scenarios
Team Building and Communication
• Facilitate collaboration, sportsmanship, and positive team culture
• Teach effective communication under competitive pressure
• Help students understand individual roles within team dynamics
Tournament Preparation and Program Activities
• Prepare students for local, regional, or national competitions
• Organize practice schedules, internal competitions, and exhibitions
• Support performance analysis through gameplay review and feedback
