About the Role & Internship

Working at ESPN means helping shape how sports fans experience the biggest moments in sports across every platform. From breaking news and live events to studio shows and original storytelling, ESPN reaches millions of fans each day through social media, television, streaming, and digital platforms.

The ESPN Product Marketing & Subscriber Strategy team builds Direct to Consumer strategies and testing roadmaps that drive growth, engagement and business results across subscription types. We are focused on optimizing the fan experience across touchpoints-from our robust Fantasy sports experiences, Marketing Landing Pages, and upsell and cancellation flows. Our team is committed to building loyal fans who understand the value proposition and stay subscribers.

The approximate dates of this internship are September 2026 through December 2026.

What You Will Do

  • Support the team by managing projects focused on a variety of business initiatives

  • Collaborate with team members to develop actionable insights from ongoing campaign performance

  • Provide administrative and operational support, including asset requests and coordination

  • Collaborate with other groups within and outside the marketing organization to help drive cross department learnings

  • Research new trends and applications of streaming to enhance ESPN's marketing strategy

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Demonstrated communication and organizational skills applied in team environments

  • Interest in analyzing data and dashboards to support marketing decisions and campaigns

  • Enthusiasm for expanding streaming presence through innovation and customization

  • Experience collaborating across teams while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

  • High attention to detail, delivering accurate work in fastpaced environments

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in marketing or sports media (academic or internship)

  • Fundamental understanding of the ESPN portfolio

  • Knowledge of sports from both a fan and business perspective

  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management programs or best practices

Education

  • Senior year preferred

  • Major or previous coursework in Communications, Marketing, Sports Media, or related major preferred

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

  • Fully available from Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the New York City area

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in New York is $22.50 per hour.
