Adult School ESL/ELL Coordinator

REPORTS TO:
Adult School Director
DESCRIPTION:


  • Assists in recruitment and placement of ESL/ELL teachers for the program
  • Implements curriculum guidelines for each class level
  • Creates and oversees the placement test materials and process
  • Organizes a separate method of registration for ESL/ELL students
  • Assists students in moving throughout the different levels of the program
  • Works with teachers to assist in planning for different class levels
  • Assesses the need for new materials to be added to classes
  • Additional ESL/ELL program responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Adult School
  • Prior experience with the Adult School ESL/ELL program preferred


REMUNERATION:
The salary for this position is $3,000 ($1,000 per semester)
