Job description

Position Summary

Division EHS & Facility (both responsible).

Scope/Supervision & Interaction : (key scopes with internal, external counterparts or customers  and resources)

  • Direct EHS and compliance strategies across facilities.
  • Ensuring EHS policies and regulatory compliance.
  • Conducting risk assessments.
  • Leading incidents response, investigations, and corrective action.
  • Leading continuous improvement of EHS.
  • Fire system management & Maintenance of Buildings

Essential Functions : (detailed tasks) 

  • Implement and evaluate division-wide EHS programs, ensuring alignment with corporate EHS goals and metrics.
  • Guarantee adherence to Korea laws and local regulations, and manage environment and safety reporting. 
  • Lead facility audits, identify hazards and risk, and implement corrective actions and improvements.
  • Lead emergency response, accident investigation, and improvement measures in the event of an accident.
  • ISO14001 & 45001 certification management
  • Cabon Reduction planning & ESG Management

Qualifications : (please specify skills, certification, education background, competencies, experience, language, etc)

  • Experience : 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in the machinery and parts manufacturing industry, with 3+ years division level management 
  • Certifications : Industrial Safety Engineer Certification or Industrial Safety Technician Certification (  )
  • Skills : Advanced knowledge of EHS management systems, risk evaluation, and data analysis

    Advanced knowledge of budget management, and facility(Building) risk management

  • Language : The ability to understand, listen to, and presenting on conference call in English.

    Good communation skill with e-mail in English.
