Summary

The Assistant Trust Real Estate Manager provides administrative, operational, and client service support to Huntington Private Bank's Trust Real Estate team. This role assists in the acceptance, onboarding, management, and disposition of real estate assets held in fiduciary accounts, while ensuring compliance with Huntington policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

The Assistant Trust Real Estate Manager works closely with Real Estate Asset Managers, Trust Advisors, Wealth Advisors, clients, beneficiaries, and third-party service providers to support the day-to-day administration of fiduciary managed real estate. Responsibilities include asset documentation management, invoice and income processing, coordination with vendors, insurance administration, and facilitating communications related to real estate asset operations and oversight.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the acceptance, onboarding, administration, and disposition of fiduciary managed real estate assets in accordance with Huntington policies, procedures, and fiduciary standards.
  • Maintain accurate asset records and ensure proper collection, organization, retention, and filing of real estate documentation.
  • Process incoming correspondence, rental income, expenses, invoices, and other real estate related transactions for officer review and approval.
  • Serve as a liaison between Huntington and third-party service providers, including property management companies, appraisers, environmental consultants, insurance representatives, contractors, and other vendors.
  • Coordinate insurance claim administration, including claim reporting, documentation collection, and follow-up with carriers and service providers.
  • Monitor shared mailboxes, telephone inquiries, and client requests, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
  • Assist with coordinating property inspections, valuations, environmental assessments, and other due diligence activities as requested.
  • Support the tracking and maintenance of critical dates, including lease expirations, insurance renewals, tax payments, and compliance requirements.
  • Communicate with internal partners, clients, beneficiaries, and vendors regarding asset status, project updates, documentation requests, and routine real estate matters.
  • Assist with special projects, audits, reporting requirements, and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Associates Degree
  • 5+ years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in real estate, property management, title, escrow, mortgage, commercial real estate, or a related industry.
  • Experience working in a corporate fiduciary, trust administration, wealth management, banking, or financial services environment.
  • Knowledge of fiduciary account administration and trust-owned asset management.

Compensation Range:

Total Base Pay Range 24.00 - 44.50 USD Hourly

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
