Production Technician I
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Production Technician I to support manufacturing operations by assembling components, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining safety protocols. The Production Technician I must have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow work instructions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with a strong work ethic who collaborates effectively to meet production goals while maintaining efficiency and precision.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Support the manufacturing team with the fabrication of composite parts and/or electromechanical assemblies
  • Follow written work instructions to assemble and document the build of each assembly.
  • Escalate any process or quality issues.
  • Offer suggestions to improve safety, quality, on-time delivery, etc.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Quick learner, hard-working with skilled hands.
  • Technical hands-on capability with attention to detail. Including but not limited to wiring, soldering, assembly, and general shop work/maintenance.
  • Ability to collaborate and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to verbally communicate, read and comprehend written and verbal instructions, and be capable of doing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Proficiency and experience with basic hand tools and their safe operation.
  • A willingness to learn and work overtime when required.
  • Willing to work as a team to reach daily goals and objectives.
  • Excellent work ethic and attendance.
  • 2 work shifts: 5:00a-1:30pm; 7:00-3:30pm
  • High school diploma.
  • A valid driver's license

Desired Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience in Composites
  • Experience assembling and/or testing complex electromechanical assemblies
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • SLO Partners UAV Completion Certificate
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Available Shifts: 5am- 1:30pm or 7am-3:30pm
