The spirit of DIY and customization runs throughout every element of a Slate, because people should have control over how their trucks look, feel, and represent them.**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**We are seeking a **Senior SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect โ€“ Order to Cash (O2C)** to own the end-to-end design and architecture of Slateโ€™s sales, vehicle ordering, customer fulfillment, and pricing processes as part of the companyโ€™s migration from NetSuite to SAP S/4HANA.Reporting to Slateโ€™s Head of ERP Systems, this role serves as the internal counterpart to our implementation partnerโ€™s Solution Architect and is accountable for establishing the long-term SAP Order-to-Cash design strategy. The successful candidate will lead the architecture, configuration direction, and process design for **SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), Variant Configuration (VC), Vehicle Management System (VMS), Pricing, Customer Master Data, Logistics Execution, and integration points with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Dealer/Retail Operations.**As the senior functional authority for Order-to-Cash, this individual will ensure that SAP design decisions support organizational growth, customer experience, revenue recognition requirements, and efficient order fulfillment execution across the enterprise. This is a permanent product team role, not a project-based assignment. The selected candidate will help launch the initial SAP S/4HANA platform and then own the ongoing evolution of Order-to-Cash capabilities for years to come.Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the **automotive, electric vehicle, or discrete manufacturing industries**, particularly those with expertise in **SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS)** and **SAP Variant Configuration (VC/Advanced Variant Configuration)**.**WHAT YOU GET TO DO*** Lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA SD solutions across sales, distribution, customer fulfillment, and vehicle sales processes.* Define end-to-end solution architecture aligned with enterprise business requirements and SAP best practices.* Provide functional leadership for SAP SD, VMS, and VC-related projects, assessments, enhancements, and transformation initiatives.* Drive standardization, process simplification, and adoption of SAP S/4HANA capabilities.* Establish scalable architecture supporting direct-to-consumer, dealer, fleet, and aftermarket business models.* Lead design decisions for integrated customer, order, vehicle, and fulfillment processes.**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM*** Bachelorโ€™s degree in information systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.* 10+ years of SAP OTC experience, including multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations.* 3+ years of SAP S/4HANA solution architecture experience.* Experience with SAP S/4HANA Green field implementation or transformation programs.* Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain business processes.* A clear, defensible point of view on clean-core and fit-to-standard design, with the credibility to serve as the implementation partner's counterpart and hold the line against unnecessary customization.* Experience writing functional specifications, leading finance-side user acceptance testing, and partnering with implementation partners and IT through go-live and stabilization.* Familiarity with SOX requirements for finance systems, ideally in a pre-IPO or recently public-company environment.* Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment building a system rather than maintaining one.**Salary Range:**The compensation for this position is the range Slate reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; work location; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Base Pay Range (Annual)$171,191.48 - 285,319.13 USD AnnualAdditional Compensation and Benefits: Slate offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
