Our client is looking for an Oracle Fusion Finance Architect for a project and below is the detailed requirement.
Job Title: Oracle Fusion Finance Architect
Location: Louisville, KY - Hybrid
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with overall of 12-15+ years of experience.
  • 8+ years of Oracle ERP experience (Oracle Cloud + Oracle EBS).
  • 5+ years of experience as an ERP/Solution Functional Architect with expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
  • Strong hands-on experience implementing and configuring Oracle Fusion Financial modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS), and Oracle Projects.
  • Proven expertise in designing and optimizing enterprise finance processes including Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Project-to-Profit.
  • Experience conducting business requirement workshops, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and functional architecture governance.
  • Strong understanding of Chart of Accounts (COA), enterprise structures, financial data models, accounting principles, and Oracle ERP best practices.
  • Experience defining functional requirements and collaborating with technical teams on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and enterprise integrations.
  • Experience supporting full lifecycle Oracle ERP Cloud implementations including configuration validation, testing, UAT, deployment, and production support.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, documentation standards, and Oracle Cloud implementation best practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across Finance, IT, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead functional solution architecture for Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials including GL, AP, AR, FA, AHCS, and Oracle Projects.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle ERP Cloud solutions aligned with Oracle best practices.
  • Conduct discovery sessions, business workshops, fit-gap analysis, and define future-state finance business processes.
  • Design and govern enterprise structures, Chart of Accounts (COA), financial data models, and end-to-end functional solutions.
  • Define, standardize, and optimize finance processes including R2R, P2P, O2C, and Project-to-Profit.
  • Review and approve Functional Design Documents (FDDs), solution designs, business process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Act as the primary functional liaison between Finance stakeholders, business users, implementation partners, and technical teams.
  • Define functional integration requirements and collaborate with integration teams on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solutions.
  • Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and post-go-live stabilization from a functional perspective.
