DAN Enterprise Systems Training & Change Management SkillBridge Fellowship
Position Title
Enterprise Systems Training & Change Management SkillBridge Fellow
Program Summary
The DAN Enterprise Systems Training & Change Management SkillBridge Fellowship is designed for transitioning Service Members interested in enterprise technology training, ERP systems support, organizational change management, and business process improvement within a mission-driven nonprofit environment.
Participants will gain structured, hands-on experience supporting enterprise systems and operational workflows that enable DAN's mission areas, including member services, emergency assistance, research operations, training administration, and organizational support functions.
The fellowship provides progressive training in ERP systems, instructional design, end-user training, business process documentation, user adoption strategies, and enterprise systems support. Participants will collaborate with business and IT teams to improve operational efficiency and system utilization while developing professional communication and technical training skills.
This is a structured training program conducted under supervision for professional development purposes. Participants do not replace employees or independently perform operational duties.
Program Duration
24 Weeks (168 Days)
Full-Time (40 Hours per Week)
Compensation: Unpaid (in accordance with DoD SkillBridge policy)
Core Learning Objectives
Participants will develop the ability to:
  • Apply enterprise systems training and change management principles in a civilian nonprofit environment
  • Develop and deliver effective ERP and enterprise systems training programs
  • Translate operational workflows into structured documentation and training materials
  • Support organizational technology adoption and user engagement initiatives
  • Develop technical communication, instructional delivery, and presentation skills
  • Gain exposure to cross-functional business operations and enterprise support environments
  • Support business process improvement and workflow optimization initiatives
  • Collaborate effectively with IT, operations, finance, customer service, and administrative teams

Participants will engage in structured learning activities including:
  • ERP system training and end-user support observation
  • Project planning and documentation development
  • SOP, workflow, and training material creation
  • Schedule coordination and training tracking
  • Stakeholder coordination and communication support
  • Business process mapping and workflow analysis
  • User adoption and change management initiatives
  • ERP testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) support
  • Knowledge base and instructional content development
  • Process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

All activities are conducted under supervision and are designed for training and professional development purposes.
