Job description

Business Systems Consultant

This team member will be a part of the Business Systems Consulting group working alongside other team members providing expertise for current and proposed systems (people, process and technology). They should be able to work closely with our engagement leaders to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, budgets, and timeframes for customers' projects. The following are additional duties and responsibilities expected of this role:

  • Meet with clients to assess current business systems (people, processes, and technology)
  • Support clients through ERP implementations
  • Convert records for input into new systems for data migration
  • Consult with clients on best practices related to their business processes
  • Quickly learn systems and software applications, and be able to assist clients with system implementation and restructuring projects
  • Participate in conversations with a variety of businesses in multiple industries about how to achieve their business goals
  • Research and recommend optimal technology ecosystems
  • Communicate with software vendors to outline company technology needs
  • Assist with preparing key findings and analysis reports on client systems
  • Leading and/or participating in special projects and activities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems or similar field.
  • 3+ years of public accounting or applicable experience including ERP Implementation experience.
  • Working experience with Sage Intacct implementation projects from discovery through go-live and post-implementation support.
  • Highly competent in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to manage high volume of projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly detailed-oriented, time management and multitasking skills.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work quickly, work both independently and collaboratively with a team; take full ownership of your role in meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, a commitment to high-quality client deliverables.
  • The ability to take full ownership of customer deadlines and needs, including working necessary hours to meet customer deadlines.
