Responsibilities:

  • Within the US Prime Services Platform Sales team, develop new Equity Prime Brokerage business, leveraging our platform and services to best meet clients’ needs.
    •    Origination of new relationships, new business activity with existing clients and ongoing relationship management.
    •    Able to lead a pitch and deliver highly complex solutions to a sophisticated client base and ensure smooth delivery by partnering with support functions. 
    •    Analyze and assess requirements of prospective clients in terms of execution and clearing solutions, settlement and custody, financing, risk management and reporting
    •    Work with SG’s product and support teams to provide constructive customer and market feedback to help drive new product development and ensure client satisfaction and retention. 
    •    Train and supervise junior members of the team
    •    Introduce and refer potential clients to other business lines of SG 
    •    Closely follow regulatory changes and its implications in the Investment Industry
    •    Participation at industry events - Hedge fund and related alternative investments conferences on an ad-hoc basis.
    •    Develop and maintain strong client relationships, with a clear expectation to bring in portable relationships that generate new business opportunities.
  •  Minimum of 7-10 years of direct Prime Brokerage experience
  •  Cross Asset product expertise: Equity (cash and synthetic), Futures, Fixed Income, FX, Cleared Swaps
  •  Direct experience in Equity Prime Brokerage is strongly preferred
  • Good understanding of Tactical Trading strategies: Global Macro, CTA, Quant Equity, Fixed Income Relative Value, Volatility
  • Strong understanding of arranged financing structures and margin optimization strategies.
  •  Managed Account structuring expertise
  •  Series 7,3 and 63
  • Excellent verbal & communications skills
  •  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to speak publicly with confidence and poise
  • Keen sense of self-motivation
  •  Ability to collaborate and build relationships with other teams  
  • Advanced problem-solving and analysis skills
  • Strong attention to detail
